For reference, I (24F) met this guy a while back and was introduced to ENM relationships. And I have been exploring the idea of entering one myself. So recently met a new guy who is open to trying an open relationship. We communicate well, have fun together, and I am starting to like him. We talked about being honest and transparent, and although it's a new concept for him, he is open to trying it out with me. So I imagine it as we date and get closer, but that does not necessarily mean we cut off other people that we have sex with. It just would mean that our relationship is the main priority.
My next question is: What does building that kind of relationship look like? I have only ever 'built' a closed relationship, and obviously, the main milestone in that relationship is when we would eliminate other people. But now, that milestone is not technically going to happen. I never thought I would get this far, tbh.
