I’m looking for info on males who have connected with women via online methods - Feeld/Tinder etc. While I understand these online platforms aren’t the best, I think the initial online connection is one of the more accessible options without approaching women at a bar (I’ve always found that to be too pushy, as a matter of opinion). In months of being on apps, I’ve had numerous matches, but none have developed into actually meeting with a woman looking for human connection. As in 0%. They have all turned into sales pitches for premium subscription service or some form of “support my dreams by Venmoing money for a new dress for my interview.”

My question: is this the same story for other men seeking women?

My expectation wasn’t that every “match” in my area was some sort of solicitation, by any means. I’d always know that was a reality, but I didn’t suspect that it would be this severe.
