I was married for 19 years, and during most of that time my wife and I had an open relationship. We waxed and waned in terms of how active we were, but it was always an option. We divorced 3 years ago, for reasons other than our open relationship.

I’m dating again, but I know that I just won’t and can’t be happy with a “normal” relationship. But dating and getting in a relationship with a woman and then trying to turn it into an open one seems impossible, or at least highly unlikely.
