Hello 34M here, unmarried but in a practically dead LTR. I frequently come across women in open (allegedly consenual) relationships and marriages on hookup/dating sites. The first question that they always have for me is whether or not I am single.
My question is the following: why do women care? Like we can still go out, get drinks, and get an Airbnb if we like each other. Why should I, as a man, be expected to be single, and therefore have nobody to fall back on, in order to enter the NSA relationship?
Is this a common occurrence? I am genuinely curious why women care and what difference a man's relationship status is if the relationship is, by definition, NSA.
