How do you know if a person you’re interested in is insecure? I recently had a partner that hid it well at first. Once I got involved I recognized some belittling and then it got to be more and more obvious. I tried to have compassion since it was only a sexual relationship, nothing more. It really came out whenever I expressed disappointment for the infrequency of meet ups. Once it was fully revealed to me I felt like I wasted my time and want to avoid this ever happening again.

Seems like insecure men really like to demean confident, attractive women, just to feel better about themselves.
