My current BF (37) and I (35F) have been dating 1.5yrs, and have actually dated about 15yrs ago for a short bit after high school, but that doesn’t matter currently.
Long story short, I have a strong sex drive and he doesn’t. He doesn’t enjoy making out and that also goes for oral downstairs action. It’s boring for me and I’m honestly suffering, I need more.
My previous partner and I dabbled in ethical non-monogamy (aka swinging) and I loved it and miss it now. I honestly thought I be fine going back to monogamy and maybe I would be if the bedroom wasn’t so dry.
We keep trying to improve our sex life but it just never clicks. I have mentioned wanting to find a girlfriend and once proposed a male sex partner and he said no.
The thing that sucks is we are great everywhere else! Get along great, support and nurture each-other, loving, similar life goals and agree to no kids. We both make good money and enjoy doing hobbies together. I truly want this relationship to work. I feel like if I could even find a fun and chill swinger couple to be a unicorn and just stick with them for one time a month or whatever arrangement we all like would be just all.
What would be my best approach to bring this proposition to my boyfriend?
