My wife brought up that she still considers us (as swingers) as monogamous because we donāt have romantic relationships with multiple partners, itās just sex. Sure, thereās friendships you develop with other couples, but itās definitely not a romantic partnership. I agreed with her.
Obviously, āmonogamousā Is just a silly label, but Iām curious what the Reddit hive mind thinks of that labeling. What say you?
No, youāre not monogamous, but it sounds like you are committed to each other and thatās what matters. Loyalty and fidelity do not have to equal exclusivity. As long as you both agree on the definitions in your relationship, the label isnāt too important.
Unless she tells other couples that you two are monogamous but also want to fuck them. It will cause a lot of confusion!
