About a year ago I met someone on a sexting app. It was supposed to be a one time thing but we hit it off.
So much so that months later we booked a trip to meet and we've kept in contact ever since. During this time we've both dated other people exclisively and we've transitioned into platonic friends, even given advice to each other about our relationships.
Neither of us want a proper ldr but we do appreciate one another and have said that if circumstances were different maybe we'd be something more.
We both have similar mindsets regarding open relationships and kinks and I feel comfortable sharing that side of me with him. Very much, actually.
Right now we're both single again, so our conversations have started to get a bit spicy, which I like.
We're still dating in our own cities but we clearly enjoy this connection and I would like to have sone sort of agreement but I don't even know if something like that exists.
I think the idea of having "something" with a name gives me a bit of a thrill. Like it's "our" thing. If that makes any sense. I just don't know what this would be. Fwb? Though we're online?
I don't mind if he sees more people and I don't "need" to see him irl either. Maybe it would be fun to meet each other once or twice a year but, like I said... we dread the idea of having a ldr because of all the logistics involved and I'm just happy to keep being friends as we have, with an added spice, of course.
