Is Tinder Okay Now?

Apologies if this has been beaten to death but I wasn't sure exactly how to search this.
It used to be that married couples or folks in relationships would be banned from Tinder and other dating apps when looking for a third or other arrangements. Is this still the case? I know they loosened up a bit a couple of years ago but I've still heard recent stories of bans.
What exactly is and is not allowed? Better options for casual, open relationships?
