Hey everyone! I’ve found lots of helpful insights here, so I wanted to share my experience and hear from anyone who’s been through something similar. I’ve been non-monogamous for over 2 years (35F, married to 36M) and am now considering closing things off as I’m feeling emotionally burned out, especially after ending a poly quad. Along with that, we’ve attended sex parties and had very casual sex. While most of it was fun, I’ve noticed that non-monogamy has been taking up so much time that I was less focused on work and my favorite sport. The effort feels way too high compared to the reward.
I’m curious if anyone else has gone through this – is it just temporary burnout, or have I discovered I value work and hobbies more than ENM? Would love to hear your stories! Maybe some advice.
