Hello! I am a 30 year old man who’s been in an amazing non-monogamous relationship for the past 4 years. In those 4 years I have been using the most popular dating apps (Bumble, Tinder, Feeld, OkCupid). Except for a couple of dates, the amount of likes and matches have been rather… limited. On feeld now for two months (no connected profiles with gf since she’s taking a break from dating apps) and have had one like so far. From a fake account. I tried uplifting my profile, pinging people… no luck. I’m straight and pretty average looking so I understand that this limits potential likes and matches. But I never imagined it getting this hard to find new nice connections. Same happened before with Bumble and OkCupid. Am I alone in this or are there other people experiencing the same thing? On my profiles I try to be as transparent as possible regarding my relationship and what I’m looking for.
Are there things I can do to increase my chances? Does paying for dating apps work for example? Or do you think it’s easier to just meet people in communities you physically hang out with? Any other tips are also welcome :-)
Thanks in advance!
