Iāve been ENM for 5 years. After focusing inward last winter/Spring, I jumped back into the dating world this past summer. I was looking forward to some good summer love! But it been terrible! So much rejection.
I think itās more difficult for married men out there - most women donāt want to date a happily married ENM man (not all, I know). At e there other men in this boat? How do you handle the dating app rejection?
Iām fairly attractive (so Iām told). Tall, athletic, educated, very emotionally intelligent and kind.
I live in a small area and so my dating prospects are limited. I also am limiting myself because Iām Not full poly- I donāt have time for a full second partner (and donāt want my wife to have a full second partner either). Really just looking for consistent FWB .
Iāve retreated from Tinder and Hinge and am just on FEELD now as it seems Iām more likely to find what Iām looking for there.
Meanwhile my wife has a boyfriend of 2 years and no trouble meeting anyone if she wants to.
ENM in generally has triggered a lot of ācomparison mindā for me which has been difficult (maybe even unhealthy if I have to experience that all the time and canāt overcome it).

This is great advice. On Feeld I take the time to be more expressive, on aps that have non-monogomy & monogamist, like tinder or okcupid. I honestly keep it more generic because my experience from the replies I get they didn't read it. Like how many totally missed I'm ENM when very clearly stated is sky high. Whereas the lifestyle apps being more descriptive without being too wordy really helps to attract the right person or couple. Pictures are the selling point- ones that show personality, travel, full body & close ups more on your face with decent lighting, & having more than 1-2 sentences on your profile.
A few months of searching in a small area is nothing. I'm a major metro and it took years to find a few that are both good chemistry inside and outside of the bedroom
