Too weird for swingers, too normal for the poly world.

Does anyone else struggle with this? I feel like most of the swinger world is corporate normies with very mainstream interests outside the lifestyle, and most poly folk are purple haired pan/trans/etc humans who are zealously passionate about DND and obscure anime. Yes I’m aware there are exceptions to both generalizations but they feel so difficult to find.
Ultimately I feel like I’m somewhere in the middle but don’t really fit in either world…..
