No real question here, just sharing the experience of a newbie to the lifestyle.
We (45M and 44F) have been in the BDSM community where we live for about a year and a half and recently decided to explore a bit of ENM by finding play partners, singles and couples, that we could develop FWB relationships with.
We had our first meetup with a couple we matched with on one of the apps tonight. Super awesome couple, we both really liked them, their dynamic as a couple, their sensibilities, everything. We had a great time with them and felt we had a lot in common. We discussed what brought each other to this space and what we were looking for and had a lot of fun conversation in general. My wife exchanged phone numbers with the other couple’s wife and we parted ways.
We’re hoping they enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed them. They certainly seemed to have a good time with us. We’d love to reconnect with them and go further, even if it just ends in having some new friends in the lifestyle without play.
One thing I will say, however, that nerve-racking feeling of, “Did they like us?” is so weird. My wife and I both felt it after we left. I honestly figured we’d leave the meetup and feel casual about it but it’s almost like dating again 😂
