First thing, I will be talking to my gyno about this, not trying to get medical advice per se just talking things out and working out my thoughts.

This partner I’m going to see told me that they could possibly have genital hpv. They said their last female partner knew she had it. They always used condoms, and if I recall said she never had an outbreak. And he’s never had warts appear and he checks regularly. I’ve never had the hpv vaccine because my parents were against some vaccinations so I will be getting it soon.

But I honestly feel like I might already have it? I know I have hsv because I get cold sores outside and inside of my mouth. I also have warts on my hands. And I have an inkling that I might already have genital hpv or hpv? Idk like I said not too educated on it. I’ve been reading just not completely educated. I didn’t even know hpv was one of the most common sti strains. I’ve had sores down there before that go away but they’ve been red bumps that are hard and itch. Not bug bites either. Or ingrown hairs (I think). Again still getting the vaccine but do I need to wait to do anything like kissing, oral, and sex? Hand stuff? After getting the vaccine. What’s the time period I should wait. Or if I think I have it already should I just go ahead. Also…..will be using condoms don’t worry lol. Not trying to get pregnant.
