I have been in an open relationship for almost 12 years. I 33(F) have expressed to him 38(M) that I am ok with it so long as it’s just sex. To me that means exactly what it means, no other relationship outside of sex. For him he thinks that it is acceptable to tell other women that he wants to get them pregnant. I have never been ok with this and have expressed it from early on. He still does it despite how I feel. He also thinks that it is acceptable to text them an excessive amount at any hour. He thinks it’s acceptable to tell them whatever he needs to tell them to get them to have sex. He says that women “won’t just have sex” that they need more than that. He believes it doesn’t matter what he tells them, because he is still with me and that I shouldn’t care what he tells other women. He will say that I want to take away what makes him happy and for him to be the only one sacrificing. He will often say I’m selfish. I personally think that is a ludicrous notion. What I am wondering is do I sound unreasonable? Please share your thoughts unfiltered.
