If you're someone who puts that "hygiene" is very important to you on a dating app, can you tell me what that means to you?
I can't figure it out because most people shower regularly, brush their teeth, shave the parts of their body they shave, etc. Is this a low-key way of saying you're only interested in people who shave/wax their vulvas/balls? Are you actually worried about people's bodily cleanliness cause you've had bad experiences with people showing up dirty or stinky for dates? Is this a misuse of the word "hygiene" because someone thinks that "hygienic" is the opposite of "has STIs" because some people use "clean" language to talk about STIs even though that's super stigmatizing and unhelpful?
I'm just so confused. I've never thought to stipulate on any dating app that someone should be "hygienic."
If you have to ask then you probably don’t have it.
