I matched with someone on hinge who’s bio says “monogamous and figuring out relationship type” (didn’t notice this until after we matched). After a little humorous chit chat, I suggested an in-person conversation. He asked what I’m looking for so I reminded that I’m non-monogamous and asked how that aligns with his relationship style.

He shared that he’s never dated non monogamously but knows a bit about it, that he doesn’t “mind” it, and that he’s not trying to to jump into a relationship too quickly (is anyone?).

From your experience, is it worth it to continue getting to know someone who isn’t familiar with your lifestyle? Casually dating is fine with me, but does it make sense to do that only with other ENM/poly people?
