I'm and only about 1 month into a relationship with a new partner but it's been so fun!!! I'm aware of the appeal/nuances of "NRE" (new relationship energy) but am fully embracing the fun and novelty
Since it's such a new relationship I'm trying to curb my expectations a bit but tbh I don't like pretending I'm less excited than I actually am.
They're even gayer than me (I'm bi) which is so fun and they seem to really respect the boundaries me and my wife are outlining. It's been almost effortless and it seems I'm the overly-anxious one trying to make sure everyone is ok with the fun I'm having lol. Both my wife and the new partner have been very clear in their communication ❤️
I've had casual flings before but have been really looking for an additional partner and for now it seems I have found them and I'm having such a a great time! :)
I've been doing very regular check-ins with my wife to gauge how she feels about this and she really enjoys the little moments I share with my new partner.
My wife and I have been together for 12 years at this point and I have to say I missed the early stages of dating where everything is new and you start to learn so much about each othe but my wife and I still very much enjoy being together, there's plenty of love going around! I cried from how lucky I feel :)
