So I (M36) and my partner (32F) have been meeting couples and singles for the better part of two years.
I thought I’d share in this thought on this subreddit.
We have learned we are the chatter boxes and we primarily chat up the couple and single we meet.
It’s difficult when you, A. Don’t want to hit it and quit it (we don’t get any stimulation from “come f*ck us/me in the hotel room tonight!”) or B. Don’t get much in turn of conversation (it’ll be days or even a month when we hear back from a couple/single and they don’t give much in the first place, we’re not secretive about our lifestyle but we’re sure not guarding our personal lives)
We’re a couple that enjoys a mental stimulation, primarily through conversation and the A. and B. Make it so difficult for us to connect w a couple or single.
Anyway, that’s just a small vent I guess.
Anybody else have this experience?
We make a lot of connections with other couples, but few of them turn into dates. That's just the nature of things. Physical attraction is only so much. After that, it's truly about finding the right fit.
