Soooooo, I’m coming up on 6 years of nonmonogamy in the summer. I only really realized how long I’ve been doing this last year, when I hit 5 years!! That’s a pretty long time to me, idk.
So now I’ve gone back and found the exact date I started practicing nonmon (under very not-ideal conditions, but nonetheless). I’ve put it in my calendar. But now… how to celebrate? It’s several months out, but I need ideas! Some of mine so far:
-Have partners over for a little sex party
-Have partners/other nonmon friends over for a regular party
-Go to a leather/kink class, munch, or other event
-Attend a burlesque show (I did this for my birthday and it was so much fun! So I’ll take any excuse to do it again)
And then some alternate ideas that are a little less festive:
-Commit to getting my “nonmon social/munch” idea off the ground (I have a venue picked out, but I have such a brain block over filling out the application form T_T)
-Commit to getting back on dating apps
-Have a boring night in with my S/O
What am I missing here? It falls on a Thursday so I may not be celebrating it on that specific day but I’m still on the hunt for inspiration!!
