My partner(F29) and I (F29)been together 5 years, we have always talked about being ENM, we've always communicated, and have bounties in place etc, but I joined an app and started chating to someone and they wanted to meet, I double check everything through with my partner and she didn't say anything against it until today the day I'm meant to meet up with someone, now she's saying she feels insecure and doesn't want me to go

Part of me feels that is isn't very fair to ask last minute after I've been insanely transparent but also I do love and respect my partner and I don't want to upset her.

We both feel a bit of a cross roads because she said she is open to it but just not tonight as she doesn't feel ready. But we've been openly discussing this a long time.

Any advice from people have been in long term ENM
