I’ve (26f) been dating my bf (27m) for 8 months and he’s opened up to me in the past about having nonmonogamous relationships in the past. He recently wanted to start one where he casually sees a second person. I was open to this idea but personally don’t have any need to see other people. He feels that it would be a casual relationship and eventually wants us to be friends. Is it weird that I am ok with this? I feel like I love him so much that I would be willing to experiment and try this. He said he’d have this in. Every relationship. Did this happen to anyone else and you didn’t work out? We both went through boundaries and where the line is drawn. He understands how I feel and is very open and honest. I am open to having a poly relationship with this 3rd girl but sometimes my insecurities make me uncomfortable? I prefer to not know the girl for now. This is probably all a huge red flag but I feel oddly calm about it?
