So I have been open with my partner for about two years now, and have been verrry lazy about going out for hookups but never quite understood why until recently: I just don’t think they’re for me. 0% judgement, I just can’t get “in the mood” that quickly for someone, ya know?

But now… i’m wondering how to maintain being open and still being able to have outside-intimacy without the blind hookups? I don’t want to string anyone along, and I know that moving more towards “friends with benefits” than “stranger with sex organs” immediately opens the door to some complications, esp at my age (22)

Anyone have advice on how to approach having fwb in an open relationship without it getting too committed or situationship-esque?
