I've (29m) been with my partner(25f) for over 6 years, and we started slowly sliding into non-monogamy over the years. We started with threesomes with female friends and it slowly turned into her solo dating women and me having the occasional encounter with women she was also interested it an I considered us monogamish at the time.

We started solo dating in February of this year after she expressed interest in a male friend and I went out and hooked up with a few different people, but I was way too jealous and it was really affecting us and we had to go back to monogamy for a while to get our relationship back under control.

After a few months off my partner went out with another woman and we talked about opening back up, which we did and have been for a few months. I've been relatively successful going out with people again and my partner has only seen one other guy again but it's completely destroying me.

Everything came to a head finally when last night we were having sex and I couldn't not think of the person she is seeing now and I got completely turned off and we stopped. I don't want to go back to monogamy but I don't know how to not let my partner being interested in other men destroy my life.
