Hey I’m a 20 y/o college student and in a relationship with my boyfriend. While I love him a lot it’s sometimes so hard to talk to him. We both didn’t get dorms for our college this year, he’s a wealthier person than I am so he stays a lot closer to campus than I do. 3 hours closer. So he still gets to do so many things I can’t do like go to class on campus, hangout with our friends, go bar hoping/partying, and he’s taking advantage of being on a college campus in Atlanta without his boyfriend sexually speaking. While complaining about his mom and having to stay at home knowing I have a lot of the same problems and none of the access he does. And while none of this is a problem it’s just so hard hearing about it when I’m 3:30 hours away from all these experiences that I also want to have. And I wanna talk to him and I wanna hear about his life and care about him but it’s hard to hear this and then look at my life and not want more. I live in a small town we don’t even have a Walmart. Is there any advice anyone here could give me?
