Hello, new couple (40f) (39m) are looking to try ENM. I recently opened up to my wife about my desire for her to date, flirt, have sexual experiences with other men. This started as a fantasy (dirty talk during sex, not cuckold fantasy), but has evolved into trying this in real life; not just sexual but I can go into that if someone wants. I never thought she would go for this as she is very monogamous. I have no desire to be open or dating anyone else (her major concern); so it would be one-sided. We have very strong communication and don’t see this as being an issue. We initially looked into Polyamory but after doing our research, it looks like ENM is more suited for us. We have a few concerns if anyone can give advice:

1. Privacy, we would rather our families stay out of our business, my wife’s family is largely Christian and will be judgmental.

2. Dating apps, online profiles, this is where we are having the most trouble. We are hesitant posting real profiles. She has two stalkers from her past (inactive) and fear of family stumbling across the accounts.

3. FWBs, We are mainly looking for friendship first, no ONS, with the B a possibility. Has anyone had success with this approach and how do they go about it.

4. Conservative Area, we will be moving to Texas soon, and although we will be close to Austin, we’ll most likely be in a conservative community. How do we navigate an ENM relationship and keep our neighbors and employers in the dark? Do we have to keep people from visiting our home, don’t date around where we live, etc.?

5. Children, we have 4 kids ages 9-17, and don’t wish to share our lifestyle with them. Is it better to keep kids in the dark or explain? I was thinking in the dark since they have most of their life in a monogamous family. We’ll be prepared if they find out.

We may even open up completely if we find the lifestyle to our liking.
