Who is responsible for planning dates? My FWB has more of a demanding job than I do, so I have been taking the initiative to plan our dates. First, I establish a mutually convenient date and time to meet up. I also pick the place where weâre going.
I actually donât mind doing this but also donât want to feel like I am âchasingâ him. Does one person typically plan dates or should the effort be shared? What does it mean when one person in the relationship handles the date planning? If the partner who doesnât plan the dates willingly attends the dates, does it matter?
If there is not reciprocity in planning dates it can feel like the other person is not too invested in the relationship.
It is emotionally easier to make the other person "reach out".
