Hey! My boyfriend (21M) is coming down to my hometown to visit me (20 M) but before he comes to see me he’s spending three days with a friend(21 M platonic but sexual) in a city within 20 miles of me. Now while I’m ok with him going to see his friend first, them hooking up, and him only spending two days with me after…mostly…still hurts a little but I’m working on it. What I have a question about is is there anything that you all recommend I do to distract myself from him being so close to me and being with someone else while I wait on my turn. I don’t have friends here any more we’ve all went our separate ways years ago. I’m lonely and bored and scared I’ll pick a fight cause I want to spend more time with him of being jealous to say it bluntly. So I was wondering what you do to keep ur mind busy and away from jealousy. Side note: I’m in a very small republican town not even a Walmart here, my neighbor has a TRUMP 2020 flag still up, Grindr is full of racist confederates, I don’t have a job cause no one will hire the black dread head, my parents are gone for a lot of the day, so I really have nothing to do but sit in my room and think. Any advice would be helpful.
