So we’re in a hierarchical relationship with another couple, get on fine and have a lot in common. To say they are our best friend would be fair and my partner enjoys that aspect of things much more than i do, loves the daily chat and hanging out and our lives are becoming more enmeshed. However I’m less keen on the relationship in this case and I’m feeling like I’m less and less sexually attracted to them. The sex is fun and adventurous but I’m not exactly lusting after them or desiring sex with them anymore. If anything I’m recoiling a bit and trying to avoid it when I can. I feel like I want to end it and I’m really worried how my partner is going to react as that would mean losing our best (and only) friends where we live. I’m also worried about any resentment from my partner. Any advice on this and how to navigate all this kind of stuff? This is our first NM relationship, thanks in advance.
