I don’t have a question. I’m just sharing something beautiful. I (F67) am new to poly and have been solo poly for about 10 months. I’ve done a lot of reading/studying so I’d be as well informed as possible. Hopefully, Im prepared well enough for whatever may come my way. A few weeks ago one of my partners and I decided we want to be anchor partners. (Some say primary partners. I’m attempting to be less hierarchical so anchor works better for me.) Yes, it’s a sweet love story of two very compatible people. Let’s call him “Bob”. Just due to circumstances, neither of us has had other partners for the 5 months we’ve been dating, although we consider ourselves poly. This week I reconnected with a friend that was an intimate partner a year ago. Let’s call him “Matt”. When I talked to Bob about Matt he said he would like to meet Matt. I told Matt about it and he said the same. Wow! Both guys are really supportive of me, managing whatever feelings they may or may not have, and being warm and generous to each other. I’m impressed and extremely happy. As a newbie this means a lot to me and I told them so.
We(I am your age) are at the perfect time in our lives to pursue nm. Retired, financially secure, Kids grown, widowed, divorced, or bored enough with marriage to seek some excitement. Free time and lenient schedules allow maximum effort to maintain relationships.
I have found the best sex is far and away with mature women, they know what they want and often are at a place to enjoy it without worrying anymore.
