My partner and I have been exploring online fun and between that, solo adventures with people on here, fun with other couples as a couple, and a LOT of talking and checking in along the way. It is during all this individual exploration and talking that we've agreed we want to pursue next steps to having sexual encounters with others, both solo and as a couple. Basically considering an open relationship.

What we're looking for is steps other couples took who felt ready to move opening up beyond online flirting to the real world. We have talked about starting with sex clubs and kink courses, but would love to hear how others took those steps and what worked/didn't work.

One thing we're certain of is neither of us wants multiple romantic partners, purely sexual encounters with different people and couples (though we both agree connection with those other people is needed).
