Hi community of thoughtful, caring, nonmonogamous folk. 👋 I really enjoy this sub as a newb who is in the process of doing the work it takes to live this lifestyle in a healthy, happy way. It's a great place to practice thought experiments, empathy, and just getting normalized in general with nonmonogamy. Some comments blow my mind with their incredible insights and thoughtful advice. Intellectually, I have come to really see how this can be a very liberating and authentic way to relate to other humans, but I'm currently in a rut in my progress. I basically only have my husband and my therapist to discuss this topic with. Personal research informs me that community is very important for success. I suppose this is my attempt to engage and build a support system for myself. At this time, I'd be most comfortable with private messaging. Kind of a reserved, private person in bigger social settings - online and irl. If you're a kind, patient, experienced person who wouldn't mind holding my metaphorical hand - please reach out. Ideally, I hope to make a long-term friend. TIA and have a beautiful day!
