Forgive the title that is just how it feels. My partner briefly dated someone who stayed with us for a few months but it was a pretty volatile relationship. They were very involved at one point and she even babysat our kid a couple of times and our kid remembers her fondly. However, her mental health was unstable and she would often behave unpredictably. Things ended abruptly with poor communication.
Fast forward to now and when I am home alone I get this feeling like she is here. I would sometimes find her hiding in strange places when she was feeling down and I get this feeling like I can hear her or I'm going to stumble across her. My daughter bringing her up every now and again doesn't help.
Tips? Advice? We have already rearranged/changed the furniture for unrelated reasons and it didn't really make any difference. Maybe its just a sign I need therapy?
