hi all :) my partner (24F) and i (23F) have had some recent heart to hearts about how my partner has come to the conclusion that they’re polyamorous, and interested in exploring ethical non-monogamy. this was not super surprising to me, but as someone who is strictly monogamous, i’m still trying to wrap my head around how this will work. we are both very committed to each other and live together, and are resigning our lease. i feel guilty for having a hard time understanding non-monogamy, but i’m doing my best to educate myself and be the best partner i can be for her (we are currently both reading jessica ferns book and doing the workbook that goes alone with it.) but i still feel really lost. i would appreciate any advice that y’all have for navigating this new chapter of our life
tl,dr: is there anything that you wish you knew before doing ENM? are there anymore resources (other than jessica fern) i should be using to educate myself?
