My husband (43M) and I (40F) were talking about this and have a different opinion about this.
To him kissing is the most intimate act. He needs to really really like someone for him wanting to kiss them. Sex, however, is a different story and needs less of a connection for him to want and have it.
I’m the opposite. Kissing is really fun, I like it a lot. But it’s meaningless in the long run and I don’t need a connection with someone to enjoy kissing them. To give my body to someone else, is something I don’t take lightly. It’s the most intimate act to me and I need time and attraction to take that step.
How is that for you? Do you think kissing is the most intimate act, like my husband or are you like me and think that sex is more intimate?
Also, are you m/f/x and do you think that matters re your feelings/opinion about this?
