How do you keep each relationship from affecting the other(s)?

My husband and are are about 8 months into our ENM life. We have very good rules and boundaries in place and each have a relationship outside of our marriage. My husband and I struggling with some things (not really ENM related)and my partner has said the last couple of times that I havenโt seemed like myself. Last night was not a good night for hubby and I and when I went to see my partner this morning I let those feelings affect my time with her. Any advice on how to keep emotions separated?
