So we are together 28 years and the last few have been openly tough. No sex in a year but used to be in the lifestyle. Relationship issues caused the dead bedroom and I’m done with wanting romance and sex with him. He’s my bf and husband and dad to our great kids, but that’s it. I haven’t brought it up and we haven’t addressed the lack of almost any physical touch. But I’m frustrated. I want that back in my life, and definitely want to have sex again and maybe a romance at some point. But love our family and don’t want to break us up! Has anyone taken this route and it worked out? Where you stay married, friends, parents, good to one another, and outsource the romance and physical intimacy?
