Hello everyone! I’ve lived in Nola for 4 years and study Environmental Biology. Recently, I have become involved in a urban garden program through my department, but today I planted my first herb bed here!
I’m so excited to see my plants grow!
I accidentally put fennel in my bed but took it out after a couple hours (aka right now) bc I just read that fennel doesn’t have many companions.
Did I already contaminate my planter bed with the fennel even though I took it out? Have I already changed the soil micro biome?
I think I’m probably fine but does anyone have any tips for gardening In Nola?? During the spring and summer?
Any help is appreciated!!
Let the good times roll!
