I'm just curious if anyone else is interested in having Daily Run discussion threads. I haven't even played today's daily run yet, but I thought it would be sort of cool, similar to the Slay The Spire subreddit's daily run thread.

Those of us who have death replays enabled can also post our death gifs. I have a feeling that on some seeds, most of us are probably dying at the exact same spot. Would be fun to see how far everyone is getting.

EDIT: My run ended up ending with me being an idiot. Big surprise.

I had cleared a straight path to drop my nuke and somehow didn't notice the little dude who decided to follow me up... I dropped my nuke on him instead of my intended target and noited myself.

Starting spells

Immediately below and slightly to the left of the starting point are two chests. One contains gold and the other contains an amazing wand that shoots out unstable crystals and always casts poison trail. If used properly, you can generate a TON of extra gold in this run with this wand, as Trick Greed is accessible at the first Holy Mountain.

I finished the first level with 800 gold and 150 HP and chose Trick Greed. Then floor 2 with 973 gold and 160hp. From there I rerolled and took Dissolve Powders (it sounded fun and was actually pretty nice as a way to quickly get gold from the poisoned enemies without taking too much damage.) I also took the Nuke and put Speed Up on it for some fun on the next floor.

At floor 3 I graduated with 1k gold and 205 HP and took the Hex wand, which I moved Speed Up onto. Also took Greed for stupid amount of gold.

Then I immediately killed myself (but with 2k gold at least!)

Overall today's daily run is really unique and fun imo. Lots of good early loot, tons of big worms, and an accessible playstyle (poison flood) which I've never seen before. Highly recommend giving it a go. I only wish I'd gotten a good fire want to quickly clear up the poison.
