I have a couple questions for the community if anyone would be so kind.

1. Anywhere to find runs that Aren't highly curated?

2. What should I try to accomplish before my first temple?

I have 70 hours in and I can usually make it to the coal pits but that is where most if my runs end...I just cannot find enough damage to carry on. It seems like most people already have a decent dmg wand going on by the time they move on to the coal pits. The wiki offers very little help on spell synergies so I am getting stuck sucking rnjesus dick. I've used some mods to make the game easier but that quickly saps the fun out of a run. My only win so far was using health drops on max value.
