Car camping. Friends arriving in a separate car.

I’ve done car camping before and I know that you get up to 7 camping wristbands per car.
But what if our friends are driving in from out of town? Obviously we only get one car camping sticker so where would they park? Would they have to park somewhere off-site and then hop into our car when it’s time to check in?
I’m sure we’re not the first ones to experience this predicament. How have you guys done it in the past?
