New Reddit as my ex found my old one through multiple accounts.

Roughly 3 months ago me (25f) and my ex (27nb) broke up after 1.5 years. Our relationship was rocky, breaking up several times. They were always the dumper. This past time was the final time and after breaking up we went NC. I started therapy for unrelated reasons last year and I grew a lot and finally decided to put my foot down. Don’t wanna be with me? Ok.

I admit in the past I would always beg for them to come back. This time I have stuck to NC and I think it’s really starting to get at them. They have attempted to reach out to me several times it’s nothing hateful or mean on there end or my end. I just don’t want talk to them. I have said this several times to them.

We live not too far from each other and with them attempting to break NC I am nervous about running into them IRL.

Has anyone dealt with this? How can I overcome my nerves there are no hard feelings I just don’t want to be friends or anything at all. TIA.
