Does NMSU students not throw house parties or fraternity parties?

I was wondering for a while now but does anyone throw good house parties anymore? A friend from ASU goes on & on about how lit thier are (As expected of a party school) and asked me but couldn't really give an answer? Have anyone experiences anything of the sort? Please share!!!
