Tanahashi at Capital Collision
Post Body

I had the pleasure of being at the NJPW show last night and had a lovely time. So much fun, incredible card, I had floor seats a few rows from the ring. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Now, I love Tanahashi and I’ll preface this by saying until last night, my last time watching a full Njpw show was wrestle kingdom a few years ago and I’ve not seen Tana wrestle since then.

Last night, he really seemed to be struggling. Very stiff and rigid and he seemed to be in an awful way. While I was really engaged with the main event which was so much fun, I found myself watching him a lot and he seemed to be suffering the whole time.

I’ve had a distant eye on everything and I guess my question or inquiry into this is: Are we knowing witnessing Tana dropping down to be like an opening multi man tag guy like a lot of the classic legends or can he take time off and recover and perhaps come back at a strength that would give him another main event/upper card run?
