What is it with nitrous and eternity? I’ve read some reports on Erowid and ALL my nitrous trips either are flops or involve eternity. Like I realize why eternity is or think I need to keep huffing or will lose the eternal bliss or... time is so warped that you literally experience eternity and it’s to me typically positive and like omg I remember now why I came to Earth even... it sort of makes me think of Alan Watts talking about how terrible it would be too be totally powerful and totally omniscient. Sounds great at first, but then how boring to be able to predict everything exactly as it will happen, no uncertainty or surprise. To be a all powerful God sounds torturous honestly and makes the veil of ignorance a logical option after getting bored in bliss. I still want to go back to the bliss, but I can see it getting old.

Anyone else have profound experiences involving eternity? It’s like how the hell did I just experience eternity in 30 seconds but that is what it was like without a doubt to my mind.

Also, I have this weird feeling sometimes that nitrous is like a weird way into hyperspace and that something happens to our consciousness that changes us in hard trips. I don’t know how to explain more than that but throwing out there in case anyone knows what I mean.

Of course if our consciousness did hop so to speak, we’d never know because whatever consciousness inhabits this body would acquire all memories, habits, etc. You really can only know that you seem to be this character in the present moment.
