I posted this on another thread, but this one is way more accurate and was my most mind blowing nitrous trip experience i have ever had, period!
So here were all the steps i took to maximise my hit
hyperventilated for 2 minutes straight then breathed in approximately three nitrous charges at once. as soon as i did that i began my stop watch so i could monitor how long i have been holding my breath.
i think i got to like 2 to 2.5 mins max where my memory just disappears. what i do remember before i hit that point, while i was coming up, was this strange feeling like i was being pushed backward in my chair by some magical force. I remember at some point i became completely and utterly out of control of my own body before the disassociation ejected me into the ether. For a brief period i was in another realm where I could both see and not see, or better yet, my brain wasn't registering the visual input from my eyes, therefore my eyes were effectively closed while still being open. I don't remember much of how I felt, but I do remember having thoughts and conversations of introspection within myself. now bare in mind this ,to me, seemingly a magical yet unstoppable force was slowly leaning me more and more back on my chair as my head was in the clouds. This of course eventually culminated in me reaching the tipping point of falling backwards on my chair, and while i know what happened after i came to, I at the time was so out of it, all I remember was my vision suddenly going vertical as i fell back, and i didn't brace at all and yet still after smacking my full body weight on the ground i still didn't register that anything of was different, and i quite literally felt zero pain. To paint a picture of my current position, i was now lying on the right side still in the sitting position like nothing had ever happened, chair and all, lol. So After what I can only assume was 1 to 2 minutes of lying on the floor slowly beginning to grasp what had actually happened, i began to have thoughts of how long i had now been holding my breath, as I had lost all sense of time, I had the thought that this must be how people die from lack of oxygen while on nitrous, as they are so out of it that they cant register the need to breathe, so with that thought I exhaled. As I exhaled I can distinctly remember myself being pulled back into my body, as if two universes were merging, the whole experience could be best visualized as going from cross-eyed to normal. Maybe i was in fact cross eyed at the time, i really don't know, but i do remember mentally seeing myself get physically pulled into my body, of which at the very instant it was done i regained full control of myself, although i was still quite hazy. This is the point where i really realize what had happened, and even after exhaling i still couldn't give enough fucks to get up for a whole another minute lol.
Overall the duration of the experience from inhale to exhale was about 4 mins, bare in mind i was running a stop watch, but of course only stopped it once i could move again, and after sober assessment i can deduce that I could have easily gone an extra 30 seconds. All in all one hell of an experience, reaching new levels of disassociation/fuckedupness, will definitely do again, but not any time soon , as i feel as though i have reached my goal of finding the absolute limit.
there was one interesting fact i found out about approximately 3 or 4 days later, and that was the fact that my mini aluminium bin behind me where i usually sit had a big as dent in it on the rim. I was initially confused as to when in the heck that could have happened until i realized that i must have hit my head on it as i fell backwards and in the state i was i didn't feel it, which is why i was initially confused as to how the dent got there in the first place. But that dent also explained the dent that was left on my head as well. But you see the most interesting this about that fact is that by the act of not registering the initial hit at the time, even though my body did react as any other persons would as part of the healing phase, the one thing that didn't carry over was any sense of lasting pain or discomfort from said damage/dent. Pretty wild if you ask me.
to clarify a few things, the longer you hold in the nitrous the stronger the trip becomes until you exhale. Also, it's 100% plausible for your average person to hold their breath for 4 minutes straight as long as you saturate your blood stream with oxygen beforehand, hence why I hyperventilated for 2 minutes beforehand.
On the other thread i posted this i was barraged with insults of how retarded i was.
And so to get those comments out of the way now, yes i most assuredly could have taken extra steps to avoid what happened, for me the one and only step was i should have done was been lying in bed or something. But the main barrage of negative comments i got were over the danger of going as far as i did with holding my breath, and that is a valid point to a certain degree depending on what mental prep and experience you have had plus how mindful of a person you are, which i am a very mindful/self aware person, i always monitor myself even when as fucked up as i was, of course except for when i 100% blacked out for what i think was about 15 to 20 seconds. also bare in mind the human body can go with ought oxygen for about 10 full mins before you begin to get into brain damage territory. And lastly yes even with how fucked up i was i do believe i began to feel the urge to breath again towards the end, although i didn't wait any longer than the beginnings of that feeling before i exhaled, so good fact to know, Although everyone is different so maybe its just a more me thing, i don't know. So all in all, if you ever consider pushing your nitrous experience to its utmost upper limit with ought getting injured or maybe if you don't get that natural urge to breath (best to have a trip sitter to monitor the time for you) and learn from my mistakes and take in the tips i have mentioned and you will have what i can only describe as an actually indescribably mind blowing experience that will be sure to leave you flabbergasted as you soak up the awesome yet crazy experience you will just have had for the next 10 to 20 mins, that is before you completely forget what it felt like (as I always did lol) it was and always will be one alien ass experience that at least at that dose begins to come to par with DMT. Except no visuals (at least not for me) and way more euphoria.
Feel free to ask any questions as i will props be checking up on this thread every now and then for the next week or so.
