Hello. I’ve recently begun looking at Leafs. My budget is, after extensive searching, allowing for a 2011 or 2012. There has been one 2013 I’ve seen but it’s had very high miles.
I’m paying for the vehicle outright, no financing.
My question is for these I’ve seen the battery bars are between 7-8 left. One had 6 bars. Is this a wise investment? From what I’ve read the first bar loses 15% and the subsequent bars lose about 7%.
I plan on driving the car very little. It will be a grocery getting second car, and will honestly not drive more than 40-50 miles a week. I live in socal so no extreme cold but during the summer it can get over 100 and I would be using the AC. I also don’t have the 5k to replace the battery.
I just wanted some insight from some people in the know. :) Thank you!
