What should i get 22-24?

Hello Everybody, I know the 22's had some recalls but anybody know if they got it all figured out?
I would like to stay under 30k would prefer a pro-4x but don't think i will be able to make that work for my price range.
ANY MUST ADD-ONS i should be looking for?
This would be my first truck! What should i be looking for?
