Problem in emoji selection

I really enjoy using the keyboard and I finally get used to swiping with two hands but I kinda dislike the emoji selection view. In my opinion the emojis there are a bit too small, which isn’t that big of a deal, but it also scrolls the view when I just tap on an emoji which sometimes leads into selecting the wrong one which is pretty annoying. Are there some customizing features for this as well which i might be missing that fix the scrolling issue?
